It doesnt mean youre racist for getting angry like that. A common trait among hispanics in america is rudeness, bad language, bad manners, etc etc just as with most races, but probably more so, and thats why comments like that arise. Its not hating all hispanics, its just an unconscious and normal reaction to their (anyones) behavioural patterns. Hell I live in england and as a country we're probably one of the most racist in Europe (along with the French). What I mean is comments about ethnicity arent always pre-meditated, its human nature to find opposition with different cultures/ethnicities. Some of my best friends are black/asian but i still find myself thinking "nlgger" or "beloved patriot" if I have trouble with any strangers who happen to be black or asian, and i dont consider myself a racist any way. Its pretty fvcked up, but sometimes even the best of people think bad thoughts, we wouldnt be human if we didnt. :beer:

no, that's pretty much how i view hispanics too.
they do the same thing here in the nicer parts of long island NY.
they cram about 15 ppl in a 3 bedroom house, drive beat up honda accords and civics, blast annoying music while driving around the neighborhood, not to mention INSIDE the house.
they're driving our property values DOWN in a time where real estate prices are going UP.
all the neighbors are sick of it and selling their homes.
and guess what... the ppl that buy their houses are hispanic too, because they alert uncle Gomez and his 20 illegitimate children that the house next door is for sale.
and that's the death of another decent town in surburban america :|
Huh. Where I come from, they built a city and gave it flavor and class. They formed their own schools and hospitals and produced children who became tax paying, solid citizens of the USA.

That is one of the most assinine comments I have ever heard....I live in a well maintained trailer park. I have a damn good job and no debt. I live in a community where the housing costs are outrageous and renting is a TOTAL waste of cash so living where I do makes good economic sense. My Home is paid for, I buy a new car every two or three years, I invest tons of cash so if that makes me white trash so be it.

I feel your pain dude. a couple of years ago my neighbor across the street had a few 20+ year old hispanic males hanging around on the weekends. They would play that God Dam*ed Mexican circus music as loud as they possibly could from a kick ass car stereo system when they worked on their car.
I put up with it for a while, but i reached my limit when i was trying to watch an Avalanche game and my walls are shaking from a fricken Accordian!!!! I walked across the street and told them to please turn it down i cant hear my TV. he appoligized and i havent had a problem since. They still do crank their music from time to time and not for very long. They are much more considerate now. Guess i was lucky.

That's just a different culture. They like to unwind on the weekend and have fiestas/bbq. Had you been more sociable and had them over, you would have gotten to experience this. Alot of Americans like to go home and be isolated from the outside world, Mexicans and other cultures tend to gather with family and friends to socialize.

Which town? Which town ? Anywhere near Huntington ? I've noticed anywhere near the LIRR or big MTA bus stations are the areas of the towns they gather in. It's been a few years since I drove near Hofstra Univ. (back of Roosevelt Field mall) and when I did a couple weeks ago, it didn't feel like Long Island anymore... it felt like Queens.
It's the same reason when I went to Univ. at Buffalo, they don't connect the train system from South Campus ("the slums") with North Campus. You may think "racist", but it was not done for a reason.
I have no problem with a few of different ethnicities in an area, but the tendency is that they grow in groups and that's where the "original" culture takes a hit. I'm Chinese and I'm sure these nice white folks around my neighborhood wouldn't appreciate me bringing groups of Asians my age into the area to live.

it seems to me that SCSIfreak may have found out the 'hard' way that his downstairs neighborhors may just be polite hardworking people.
Also, i think it is important to note that most non-white immigrants tend to be shy, submissive, and considerate. it is these traits that often 'annoy' white people because it makes it harder for whites to figure them out. they think these foreign cultures are 'hiding' something, when in reality it is the other way around.
