How to cut...

Printed Circuit Boards (PCB)? I've tried using a hacksaw... and someone suggested a small electric saw, but there's got to be an easier way.

does anyone think a bolt cutter would do the trick? i'd like to cut the PCB neatly.

thanx

A hack saw would be the cleanest cut. You can always use a dremel, but you're going to be throwing up a lot of dust that way and there's a good chance the materials will melt from the friction.

I recommend staying away from cutters or pliers and sticking with a fine toothed saw.

thanx. like i said, i tried the hacksaw already, but maybe i need one with superfine teeth. btw, nice boat!

Hi, If you are talking about bare PC board material it's usually fiber glass. I use large Tin Snips or a Hacksaw and file the edges smooth. Luck, Jim

EDIT: Any metal shear will work manual or powered etc. Jim
