Hey guys,
I have an Enlight 7237 I am looking to do a couple of mods on. I do have a dremmel but have no bits that can cut metal, if I were to purchase one for it, what exactly should it be/look like and how much do you think it would cost? Also, can I just purchase a disc with the sharp teeth on it, which can be attached to an ordinary drill and cut holes with that? What would you recommend?

You can get fiberglass cut-off wheels for the Dremel which will work, albeit slowly. If you've got a jigsaw, get a metal cutting blade for that and go to town on the case. It works really, really well. See http://www.geocities.com/rap13tor13/Skewed.JPG for sample results of a modded 7237.

EDIT: The real link wouldn't work, I don't know why. Just copy and paste!

hey raptor...how big is your top exhaust fan? are those blowholes hard to cutout perfectly round with a drummel? or are the edges kinda wiggly and jaggedy?

!! SUCCESS WITH A DREMEL !!

Went through about 7-9 drill pieces (cost me $9.99 at home depot for like 60 of em.) Managed to cut a nice plexiglass window, 2 92mm intakes and 2 80mm exhausts! Case rocks! I even installed some wheels on it. I love my EN7237!

I cut 2 in my case with a Jig saw and it worked great. I used masking tape on the inside of my case side panel and used a fan grill and drew a pencil line on the inside of the outer ring and marked wher the screw holes are at the same time BE SURE THE FAN GRILL IS NOT BENT AND LINES UP RIGHT WITH YOUR FAN FIRST. I then drilled a hole and cut it out with the jig saw, use a metal blade, it looks great the cut is hidden buy the outer ring of the fan grill and it looks very good.
