How To Customize Calendar on Mac OS X

The Calendar is the event marker or day recognizer through which you can markup your meeting/appointments/events or just get to know the schedule of the Day/month/year. The User will be using the Calendar feature of MAC from the DOCK which is available with current date and month in each MAC system. The user will need to follow below given steps to be followed to learn to Customize iCal of MAC.

Step 1
Click on the iCal from the Dock

The user will be displayed with the sheet type format with the visible date and month of the current year along with the Hourly separated columns.

Step 2
Different Views of Calendar

The user can customize the calendar using the different views of the calendar as ‘Day’, ‘Week’, ‘Month’, ‘Year’.

Step 3
Sync the ‘Google Calendar’

The user can sync his google calendar as shown below by entering the ‘User ID’ and ‘Password’, making sure to let the preference for ‘Refresh Calendars’ remains to be push.

Step 4
To View the Calendar

The ‘Calendar’ button on the left enables you to view the calendars synced along with the iCal.

Step 5
Create a Quick Event

Click on the, ‘+’ button available on the top left corner, enables user to add an event quickly in the calendar.

Step 6
Creating Event by Double Tapping in Any Area

The user can Double tap anywhere in the hourly description field to create an event anytime whether it needs to be for a specific day or month, it would be just by clicking on the Edit option available and can giving the description of the event. Also there is an option to create a reminder along with the invite option.

Step 7
Click ‘Done’

Once you customize Event reminder as per your need, click the 'Done' button.

The users would be able to customize the calendar using the given set of actions as a part of iCal setup according to there schedule.
