How to create Win 2000 system disk via Windows XP?

Turkish

Lifer
Got Windows XP on my old laptop and want to switch back to Windows 2000 Pro. Is there anyway I can create a system disk for Windows 2000 from Windows XP? I am guessing no but just wanted to ask before I go online to manufacturer sites to download drivers for W2K.

Not sure if I follow..

If you want to install 2000 just pop in the CD and boot from it. It likely has inbox drivers already for your laptop's mass storage controller.

You can also download (still?) a set of boot floppies that you can use to install W2K. In fact, those same floppy-images should also be present in a directory on the installation CD. You can make up the floppy set using XP, and then boot with the first floppy in the drive, and go from there. (Slow, but it works.) Booting directly off of the CD is of course preferable.
