I have a 180 minute audio lecture on a flash drive as a WMA file and I have Nero.

How can I copy the 180 minute lecture across (span?) (3) Cd-Rs to include the whole lecture?

Id also like to convert the audio WMA to a CDA format so it can be played in an ordinary CD player.

Thank you kindly.

Traditional way is to load file into an audio editor (audacity is free), select the parts you want to delete (for example, everything after the first 60 minutes), delete those parts, then export the file into wav format (44.1 khz stereo), and load the wav into any software capable of making audio cd's (nero is fine) and burn as audio cd. Do this 2 more times, but delete the first and and last 60 minutes or so for CD2, and the first 120 minutes or so for CD3. There may be a more automatic way to do this, but I don't know. By the way, Nero should have an audio editor either built in or in the Nero program folder if you don't want to download audacity (not sure if the Nero one can input wma files, I haven't used Nero in almost a year).

One final piece of advice is to make sure the lenght of the wav files you produce will fit on the CDR you have (there are 74 min and 80 min CDRs, mostly 80 min. nowadays)

A lecture need not be "hi-fidelity" nor in stereo. Save a lot of file size by choosing monaural at much less than 44.1 KHz. That is a music setting. You can also make it smaller as a MP3 file. My car CD player handles MP3 format - so does my home entertainment player.

He says he wants it converted to audio cd's so converting to 44.1 khz stereo wav is a MUST.
