I've had fish that was cooked by being soaked in lemon juice only years ago while in Key West and would like to find a recipe for this and if it has a certain name for cooking it like that.
Anyone know what I'm talking about?
I recently saw a show that mentioned this method of cooking and it made me want to give it a shot but whenever I do a google search all I come up with is recipes that use lemon, not how to cook it with lemon.
EDIT:
OMFG I almost threw up when I ate it, it was so mushy and over powering with lemon even after rinsing off a few pieces before trying it.
My fiancee looked like she really was going to throw it up if she ate anymore and spit it out!
We just ended up throwing that crap away and eating some tuna
Maybe one day down the road I'll try it again with a different kind of fish (I used tilapia) or something but as it was, it was nasty, was like eating raw mushy, over powered lemon tasting fish.
I even like sushi so it's not like I've never eaten raw fish before, but this stuff just wasn't right.
Oh well
