Is there a command I can type into the command console to convert from FAT32 to NTFS so that I don't have to re-install Windows 2000?

Any/all help will be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, I have that lying around here somewhere. Think I'll give that a try.

But I instinctively remember that there is a command that will do it for me, without me having to resort to 3rd party software. I'd rather do it that way.

Nevermind... Got it all figured out :D.

The help command in the command prompt is very handy sometimes. For anybody else who might want to know:

convert [drive letter]: /FS:NTFS

There is :p.

Do what I just said. If you don't believe me, then just type "convert help" (without the quotations) at the command prompt in Windows 2000. It'll give you all the information you need.

Right Click on 'my computer' and got to manage. This is also available through the start menu. Under 'compturer management' go to 'disk management' and it will bring up your drives and tell you their status and such. You can right click on the FAT32 drive and one of the options should be 'Convert to NTFS'.

There you go.
