How to connect stereo speakers to HDTV?

Hi there Guys

I joined today..

I need your help guys...I have two stereo speakers with normal wires (the wires dont have the red or white input)

I wanted to know if there is any chance I can hook these up with my HDTV 40'' SONY BRAVIA and so I can be ready for MGS4!!! for my sexy ps3!

If it's just standard speaker wire then you can't just connect that to a TV. You need to use a stereo receiver of some kind.

This is definitely something you can spend months researching, but for a quick, reliable option at the low end of pricing, I don't think you can do much better.

what's the exact model of the TV? Some tv have amplified outputs for an external set of speakers.
