Hello.
This is my first post to AnandTech, it seems like there is a lot of knowledge here, so I am looking for some help.

I recently switched my internet provider and I received a new Fritzbox 7113 wireless router . This modem only has one LAN port. So I would like to connect my older SMC7404 WBRB ADSL barricade router/modem to the Fritzbox so that I can have 4 LAN ports.
I have not been able to connect to the internet with this set up. I was told a few things; I might need to switch of the bridge on the SMC, how do I do that?, or maybe it will work if I use an static IP address. I would I go about setting that up? Or maybe it is because the SMC is an ADSL router/modem ( I switched from ISDN to DSL line) and no matter what I do it will not work.
Any Help or information would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Easiest thing is to connect the one of the 4 LAN ports to the router, which will leave you 3 other switch ports to connect your computers. If you don't get a link light, your may have to use a cross-over cable if neither device can auto midx.

Be sure and disable the wireless on one of the routers so that only one of them is active.
