How to completely secure a wireless network? (not as easy as it looks...)

Maybe I didn't word that right, let me spell it out. Aside from by-MAC security, I know little about wireless security. Here's the deal:

1. I am building a HTPC; it will have a 802.11g wireless card.
2. My DSL router is a wired/wireless model - 802.11g compliant
2a. The router supports WEP, WEP+802.1x and WPA
2b. The router supports 802.11a or 802.11g-only security
3. I am running a domain and the HTPC will be part of the domain
4. I have shared resources on my domain

Essentially, I want to be able to surf/connect to the outside world from my HTPC. I want to be able to access my shared resources from the HTPC. But I want to be safe from Wardrivers and the rest of the outside world.

What do I need to do? I plan on setting the wireless to only allow the MAC addy of my wireless card. What else can I do?

ps
I'm not running a UTP wire b/c that would involve drilling a hole in the wall of my apartment and I don't want the landlord to screw me when it comes time to move out. Believe me, I'd rather run a cable. :(

Thanks, JackMDS. I'll check that guide out. Hopefully I don't have to resort to praying. ;)
