There is no way to "clear" the CMOS in laptops, especially branded ones ie. HP, Compaq, IBM... Some small manufacturers who use std parts to build laptops may have this feature same way as in desktops.
Branded lappies have a unique key combination to unlock the machine, but this is not something they give away= you have to take your machine to service and prove that you are the owner.
Only thing you could try, is to open your lappy and locate the lithium battery on the motherboard (same as in desktop mobos). Remove the battery for at least 10 mins, this should clear the CMOS and everything else. In branded machines the battery is usually located in as difficult place as possible, requiring you to do a lot of work to get to it. (Not to mention woiding your warranty!!!). It can also be sealed somehow, but usually not. I have done this to couple of older machines, and it has worked.
