How to clear all the auto complete entries?

Open Regedit, search for "TypedURLs" and delete all the items listed (not the registry sections of course, just the individual keys).

May need to clear History as well.

The usual "don't screw it up and if you do it's not my fault" applies on any suggestions to use Regedit.

dont use regedit ... if you dont want too... the above post will only clear URL's anyway I think ...

For IE use Click TOOLS, then INTERNET OPTIONS, Then CONTENT, then AUTO COMPLETE ..u'll see clear forms stuff there.

Or goto CONTROL PANEL, click INTERNET OPTIONS.,, then follow the same above

Actually autocomplete can only be cleared of form entries and passwords. URLs aren't cleared.

I'm not sure why I thought the request was only for clearing URLs. Maybe because that's the only thing I allow auto-complete to apply to (and can't imagine why anybody would want it otherwise).

Clearing the History according to the Autocomplete dialog will clear the URLs. But of course, it clears your entire history as well. Doing it with the Registry entry can leave your History.

Thank goodness for the search button for these forums. I avoided getting the repost police on my ass. Yay. Thanks, I was looking how to clear the internet auto complete for forms, but not password, and now I know how.
