Hi all,

I just scored a 9700 Pro at BB (thanks again those in the Hot Deals forum, but I swear I'm gonna go broke... :) ).

Before I install this, I want to make sure I don't have any performance issues due to old drivers laying around. I'm installing this in a Compaq box with dual 2.2g Xeon processors and replacing a GeforceQuattro4 card.

? - how do I go about removing all the old drivers?

Thanks,

Well the best way is to use add and remove programs to get rid of them then use Reg Cleaner to remove them from the registry also. I personally did a complete install of my OS going from Nvidia to ATI. It can be a hassle but too me its the only TRUE way to make sure eveything is out of the system.

or you can do it manually by going into your registry and deleting an instances of the old nvidia drivers.
