How to choose a good laptop for gaming and designing?

Hi, I would like to ask about some good laptop for gaming and designing? My budget is $1200 maximum. Can you give me some advices? Thank you

I'd say go for a 15" laptop with a Ryzen 5 4600H or 4800H and a GTX 1660 Ti or RTX 2060.
There are even models with a high-refresh-rate Adaptive-Sync display that might be still in your price range: ASUS TUF Gaming A17 FA706IU (17" 1080p 120Hz, GTX 1660 Ti) and ASUS TUF Gaming A15 FA506IV (15" 1080p 144Hz, RTX 2060).
You can normally save a lot of money by buying the 8GB configuration and adding a second 8GB module later yourself, compared to buying the configuration with 16GB of RAM.

Since your budget is $1200, you can opt for a high powered processors as well as graphic cards. These two are the most important factor to consider while purchasing a gaming laptop. Most laptops at this price point come with at least 8 Gigs RAM, which you can easily upgrade to 12.

The Dell XPS 15 has a 4k screen for just about $1100 but it has a 256gb drive and 8gb ram but you get the 4k. Will go over budget for a bigger drive.
