Question stated in topic. Anyone have any idea?

Just curious since i read somewhere that the transfer rates is dependent on the slower device. So if i have two HDD connected, and both of them support ATA 100, does that necessarily mean I'm running at that speed?

<--- nOOb here .... been a long while before i started looking whatever was inside my computer...

Use a benchmark program like Sandra to see what your transfer rates are. ATA100 versus ATA133 makes zero difference...you'll be lucky to get half of that...50MBps.
