on hibernation, on my pc, its saving a 512MB file on my C partition, the OS partition, and I want it on my D drive that has alot of space. or is that 512 my RAM, cus thats how much i have....

if i can change where it saves, how do I? I have windows xp pro

I'm assuming you're using an APC UPS? Just use XP's built-in thing. You get a pop-up message when the power fails, and it shutdowns after a specified amount of time.

I chucked powerchute when it didn't want to work in 98SE ( bear in mind I have the Back-up UPS ES which uses the serial port ).

EDIT: You changed your whole message! 🙁

i know... im sorry.. but thanks for the help though! i combined windows builtin and powerchute, i tested, and it works pretty good!
