How to Change Shared Video Hyper Memory on a Laptop

I received a new laptop last night and it has a Radeon HD 3200 with 256MB of dedicated memory and 1115 of shared memory, how do I lower or adjust the shared memory?

what brand laptop and model do you have? check for a setting in the bios.

Yes the setting should be in the Bios.

Actually it isn't in the bios setting, I have tried that, it is a Gateway MD2614u, I received it free from bestbuy because they No Lemon Lawed my old laptop and this is what was comparable to the previous spec of my old laptop.

if its not in the bios then you have no way to adjust it. The Bios is what controls it not Windows.
