How to call 911 in another city, state?

A lady friend (living in TX) just got a call from her sister (living in GA) that her husband gave her a black eye. She (the GA lady) is too scared to call the police, may not have access to phone or may not be able to make phone call. My friend asked her sister to just give her a ring and hang up, if possible, to signal that situation is getting worse, in that case she will call the police for her, on her husband.

So the question to ATOT is how does my lady friend living in TX call 911 in her sister's city in GA?

Find the Alpharetta police department's direct phone number. They'll connect you with emergency dispatchers.

Yes, call the local PD, they will act on it. This is obviously not the emergency you make it out to be because you are wasting time asking questions on Off Topic instead of acting.

Just called my friend, she did not pick up the phone, I left her the # of police dept and told her what to do...

yeah. she's totally freaking out, she (my friend) has a 3 month old baby... but her husband is a very nice guy, I am sure she is being taken care of...
