How to burn CD-text?

Hi guys,
I just got an Iomega 48x24x48x CD burner last week, and I've Nero 5.5.9.17 so I'm pretty set. However, I seem to be unable to burn CD-text. I have the "Write CD Text on CD" checkbox checked, and I specified the CD title and artiste, as well as individual track titles and artistes within Nero, but when I finish burning and try playing the CD on Win2K CD player, the text doesn't show up, am I missing something? Doesn't MS CD Player support CD text?

Hmmn, doesn't it seem weird if a car CD player supports CD-Text and the MS CD player software doesn't? I mean, I'd expect it to be a lot easier to program/update the CD player to support CD-text display...isn't it?

Anyway, the Plextor program doesn't work on my computer, it says ASPI not initialized or something.

Use Nero Infotool. It will tell you if your drives support CD-text. I don't think Windows Media Player supports CD-TEXT, but I'm not sure. Couldn't find anything on the MS site about it. The CD-text discs I burn all display the text on my Sony Jukebox, but I get only the music and no text when I play them thru Windows Media Player.

Well I just confirmed that both my DVD-ROM and CD-RW drives support CD-text with InfoTool...I guess MS CD Player really doesn't support CD-text, which is quite ludricruous if you ask me, but oh well...

Thanks anyways guys!
