how to burn CD on the fly in win XP? And yes, I am serious, I don't know how to do it!

Ok, the title says it all. I am still not quite familiar with this OS.....so I am a little stumble now.....every time I try to copy CD on the fly, it always requires me to save a image file....What the heck!! I tried Nero..I tried the built-in software to no avail. I've tried every possible way to get around it...and now, I am out of idea..........give me a hand, guys!

 
in nero, under the "Copy options tab" in the "CD-Copy" dialogue, there is a check box at the top that says "On the fly". tick that and your all set.
