Shingles are cheaper than siding, and the added volume is a HUGE plus. It is a storage shed after all, so it's best to maximize that 12' x 16' footprint.

Extra vinyl & trim added a lot. Window was another $100. All the little details add up quick!

Home Depot sells those rubbermaid ready to assemble sheds. I would look into those. Another benefit is that they're considered temporary structures so in most places you don't need a building permit.

Yea I will probable just paint mine. Depends on what items cost right now with a lot of them still inflated.

FYI - in my town, a 12x12 or less shed did not require a permit. So, I built 12x12.

Yea later this summer when I do this I will probable build the max I am allowed without permit.
