How to become a screenwriter?

These new trolls suck.

Agreed. Anyone with access to Google can answer all these stupid one sentence questions in two minutes, so there can't be any legitimate reason for continually posting them.

It's not very hard, I just tried it.

What's the best way to remove sharpie from a LCD screen?

Damn, beat me to it.

Also, use PineSol; not only will it get rid of the Sharpie but you'll always have the fresh scent of pine when you're watching p0r... err, on ATOT.

1.Read the book "The Coffee Break Screenwriter" by Pilar Allesandra.
2. Sit down and do the writing.
3. Keep in mind that Ernest Hemingway said that for every great page he wrote 91 pages of shit and he is considered to be a great writer because he made sure that the 91 pages of shit went into the trash so if some of your writing isn't that good just stick with it.

You don't have what it takes to be a screenwriter.

why?

thanks bro...

I still have a hard time believing you're serious with this question. How do you become a screenwriter? You learn to write screenplays. Many people gather this knowledge through formal education, but you could start by googling "screenplays archive" and checking out the hundreds of examples of scripts and screenplays of famous films and shows that are available online. That will at least tell you what the structure of one looks like. To actually write a good one you're going to have to understand film and the way stories are told using scenes, dialog, narrative, framing, etc. That usually means at least a few film arts and history classes, but again you can probably get much of what you need online if you're motivated.
