How to backup? Stumped

Hey all, I am trying to backup a few of the partitions on my system but I am having no luck. First let me explain my setup.

I have 2 computers...

1st computer has 2 physical drives.

1st Physical drive - 40GB
Partition 1 15GB Windows 2000 Professional
Partition 2 15GB Windows XP Professional
Partition 3 10GB Free space

2nd Physical Drive - 60GB
Partition 1 10GB Data Drive (Docs, Pics, etc.)
Partition 2 20GB Source Drive (Source Programs, Drivers, etc.)
Partition 3 30GB Audio Drive (MP3's, WAV's, etc.)

My second computer has 2 physical drives. 1 is the OS drive (15GB) and the other is my Backup drive (60GB).

What I am trying to do is backup the 3 partitions on the 2nd physical drive in comp 1 to the backup drive in comp 2.

I have tried to use the backup program in MS Windows 2000 but it stops copying a little after 4 gigs have been transfered. It has done this 3 times while trying to backup my Audio drive (16GB Used).

I have also tried using Ghost 2001 by making a boot disk for an ethernet network, but the boot disk never gets the two computers linked in DOS.

I would like to find a program that will make backups from one computer to another and will then allow you to append an existing backup in the future so that I will only have to make weekly backups of any new data.

Does anyone have any ideas?
