I'm new to overclocking but I think I did pretty good on my first attempt. Got my P3-650 cb0 to 866 w/ golden orb. Now, on my second attempt I've made 950 stable with a GW Fop38, idle temp is 28degrees, full load is 34degrees celsius. My question is this, has anyone used the thermal paste they sell at inflowdirect.com, I purchased a tube for $4 and I'm going to put it on my heatsink to see if the temp. gets lower. Also, how exactly is the thermal paste applied? I don't want to mess up my cpu. Thanks in advance guys/gals.

I would first clean off the cpu and the heatsink and do not touch with your fingers because of the oils on your hands. Then i would just put a very small amount of goop on the heatsink and use a clean credit card and smoth out a very thin layer. and you should be good to go......

Thanks Renob, will definitely do, I'm trying to hit the 1ghz mark without buying peltiers and such. Thanks again. BTW, if I'm not supposed to touch it with my hands, what should I use?
