Is there a way to add BeOS 5.0 Pro to like a Windows 2000 Boot menu. BeOS is loaded on one of my IBM 75 GXP's. However Windows 2000 is installed on my 9gig SCSI IBM drive and is formatted to NTFS. BeOS does not read NTFS without the proper dirver? which I don't have. So is there a way to get w2k to add BeOS to a boot menu. Thanks

i've done it, is the ibm on a udma 66 controller? beos will read ntfs nqa. just might have to add a scsi controller, to add to the boot loader, go to http://www.winimage.com look for a program called bootpart. that should be able to add the beos 5 bootsectors to the menu and stuff, once your set and have beos all done. I should be at my pc all weekend, so PM me, and if I'm around I'll walk you thru what i can.. i just finished getting my bootlaoder tweaked for beos 5

Acutally not that I think of it I was wrong. BeOS and W2k share the same hdd the IBM SCSI 9 gig one. Beos is on like a 2.5 gig partition and Windows has the rest. So how would I do that then. I will Pm you ArkSoss. Thanks a bunch.

Hey, don't format, all you need to do is find a BeOS 4.5 CD and run the addbeos utility while in Windows 2000. It will find the BeOS partition and add it to 2000's boot menu. If you need the file, shoot me an email at mrhair@wowmail.com

Maybe I'm just stupid but I never had a lot of luck withbootpart like SUOrangeman does, so I just us the BeOS boot manager to boot BeOS, Win2k, Win98, and Linux
