How To Access Bios In Windows 10

Bios is the software that is responsible for various roles, the word BIOS stands for Basic Input Output System. The primary function of BIOS in a computer or a laptop is launching the operating system installed on your hard drive. Your central processing unit accommodates a flash memory chip that stores instruction used to kickstart your operating system. The flash memory chip is another type of rom that stores these basic input output operations. Here’s how to access the bios in windows 10.

Step 1
Open All ‘Settings’

From the right corner of your taskbar, click and launch the 'Notification Center'. Next, simply click the 'All Settings' button. The 'Windows Settings' app will open.

Step 2
Open ‘Update & Security’

From the ‘Windows Settings’ app, click and launch ‘Update & Security’. The ‘Update & Security’ settings will appear.

Step 3
Go to ‘Recovery’

From the left pane of the ‘Update & Security’ settings, click ‘Recovery’. He container screen to the right will display settings related to recovery.

Step 4
Open ‘Troubleshoot Startup’

From the container screen to the right of the left pane, click the ‘Restart Now’ button in the ‘Advanced Startup’ section. Your Windows 10 operating system will restart and offer several options. Simply click ‘Troubleshoot’ menu and then select ‘Advanced Options’ from the next screen.

Step 5
Access UEFI Firmware (BIOS)

From the 'Advanced Options' screen, select ‘UEFI Firmware Settings’ and then Click ‘Restart’. Your computer will now restart into your BIOS.
