"Lord of the Rings" took the Best Picture prize with 44% of the vote, followed by 36% for "A Beautiful Mind" and 11% for "Moulin Rouge."
Russell Crowe championed the gender-neutral Best Performer category with 26%.
Denzel Washington came in second with 14% and Nicole Kidman was third with 13%.
Each household was allowed five votes per category. Perhaps the Academy can consult us next year. >>
