It is 1 cm thick now and i am haveing the absolute hardest time getting it into the window molding. I think i may have gotten it too bog, but the next smalled size was very flimsy. What is the normal thinkness for windows?

One centimeter? Wowza, that's thick plexi. I believe I'm using 1/10 inch plexi for my windows, but I can't recall for certain. It is certainly well under 1 cm - possible 0.25-0.33 cm at the most.

Yeah it didnt look so think when i bought it but when i got it home i realized that i may have got some that was too think. Well it looks like i will have to make another trip to the Home Depot this weekend. Well i dont want to waste $20 of plexi so i may make some cool looking fan guards!

They are 1cm thick and are sheets that are 18x24inches i bought 2 sheet and they were like $10 or somewhere close to that price a peice.

Hahaha! and this was the first window i have ever done, so you would have gotten a kick out of watching me try and cut the stuff with my dremel. I was telling myself the whole time that it shouldnt be this hard, but i quess i was cutting a sheet that was like 3 times thicker than what i needed.

1cm = 10mm
to convert mm to inch divide by 25.4
so 10cm = 3/8 of an inch
3mm = 1/8 of an inch
