What the fvcken hell. The national director is asking for reports on our charged time for the last week for tax season and so everyone sends to him, but do you really have to CC me on your time report?

While we're on the topic, how is it that you show up around 7-8 (scheduled for 7) and leave around 8 charge 78 fvcken hours for last week? I show up at 9:30 and am here until 10:30 and charge about 9-10 hours a day (20 fvcken hours less then you did last week). No, there is no possible fvcken way you worked 20 hours more then I did last week. One of the partners in the office actually told me to go home because I was here too much. No, you cannot expect to accomplish as much work as I do just because you sat at what used to be my desk munching on your god damn sunflower seeds and expect to be able to charge that hour. I don't expect to be paid for 13 fvcken hours each day because I know I eat lunch, and I eat the company provided dinner, like you do, and don't expect to be paid for that time. I also don't touch all the god damn files with my saliva covered hands from pulling the seed shells out of my mouth.

Just because you came into the same position as I did and you're like 30 and probably bullshitted your resume with previous experience you get the senior position, and then somehow charge 9 hours in a single day to it. 9 hours on that job, and its not like you even finished it! I did the exact same job on a different year in less then 4 and moved on.

So, when we're having these scheduling meetings about why we're behind schedule and its ok since its tax season and its expected, but work harder, I'm not going to turn around and say we would be just fvcken peachy if this fvcker would stop eating his damn sunflower seeds or talking on the phone we'd be the most efficient section of the department. I'm not goign to rat you out to management because hey, we're the cool office that is used as an example to the others. Everyone gets along pretty much and it'd fvck things up if suddenly there was tension between the only two guys who do this ****** in the office.

So, what am I going to do? I'm going to work my ass off, and the signoffs will show for themself and I sure as hell better get a big fvcken raise and be paid more then you when review time comes around. If I don't, no, I'm not going to quit, and its not because I'm a pussy. I'm going to stick around until the next tax season, wait until the fvcken thick of it and walk into that HR office and go "Hey fvckers. Remember when you gave me that pissant raise last year and expected me to be happy when that b1tch was making 10k more then me? Well, I'm feeling damn good right now. Enjoy the ride, b1tches, I quit."

Oh no you didn't just drop 2 files off my desk that the manager asked for earlier in the day. No, I'm not going to say no, I'm not going to do it for you because you've been "working" for the last 13 hours straight with no breaks (your neighbor was gossiping about how she saw you sitting there asleep at your desk to me).

You know what, I think I just want a haircut.

EDIT: CLiffs

Bastard gets senior position
Bastard somehow charges 20 hours more then me last week while doing less
Bastard will get huge overtime paycheck
Me angry and plan quitting strategy.

Hope you quit. No way you should have to deal with that. Move on, because if you are good you will be a position elsewhere

If this person is falsifying his time records perhaps you should let HR or some other authority know instead of quitting?

Not going to quit now. When I came on, I said I'd be here through tax season at least (verbal confirmation with office manager), and I got too much pride to screw over the friends I've made. I'm giving it two weeks before I blow the whistle on his phone time and ask management how they explain his exorbitant hour charges (not only effects his pay, but eats into a job's budget and screws everyone).

But yea, if I don't get whats due come review time, I'll walk when it'll cause the most trouble.
