how the hell did i miss this?

I don't get it. They designed the arms so that it's like they were intentionally trying to make it difficult to punch people.

10x human strength?

Some of the comments on the DT article say otherwise. Basically its 10x human strength of a weakling so its exaggerated. But whoever wrote that could be talking out of their ass..

Perhaps the most valuable one is that the suit will allow the elderly or disabled to perform activities that they previously could not, by granting them normal strength and then some.

The senior citizen uprising will be swift and deadly.

I, for one, welcome our new geriatric overlords.

That is awesome. Though, the way the straps are made, it looks kinda cubersome and not solidly attached. For something that is used to increase your streight I would expect it to have a better method of strapping on. Then again guess it's mostly the suit doing the work.

Somehow I can't really see this going in full production just yet. I can see jobs that would be useful, such as furniture delivery people, but I just can't picture them using it.

"Hi, we're here to deliver your fridge"

I can tell you right now why that suit was not thought out completely. They advertise that it increases your strength tenfold, ie, lift things ten times heavier. Yet they don't provide any gloves (at least in the pic) to help hold the ten times heavier item. Brilliant!

Haha that's a good point. Lets just say the average max a human can lift is 50 pounds, that means you can lift 500 pounds with that suit, which I think would be pretty hard on the hands. Not sure what they based the figures on though. Some people can lift 200 pounds, some can't. It's most likely based on the average person that does not work out.
