How stupid is it to buy a new car, and then sell it 2 months later?

Doesn't matter. Hyundai's reputation is not as good as Toyota or Honda, so people do not want to pay much for a used one.

I would keep it. It's a fun little car to drive on the weekends.

Im leaning towards this.... if it lasts me for 10 yrs 100k miles, 1700 a year + maintenance isnt too bad

At this point keeping it is your best option.

And don't listen to the morons knocking the modern Hyundai, they've come a long ways.

The bigger question is why you would ever take a job with a daily 340 mile commute every day... That's about 5 hours of driving.

I'd keep it...

you could sell the new car and buy a used car outright though... then you still have a car and dont owe anything.

Sorry 170 mile commute total each day.... and It was a 6 mile daily drive instead of 170 miles.... but I moved 85 miles away so my wife could go to grad school, and we got a house


.. yeah so :p

She got a full ride and assistanceship with this school, and is going for a PHD so it iwas too good to pass up.
