How strong would a robot be?

A humanoid robot, roughly the same height and proportions as a 6foot tall man. How much could it bench, how much could it press over it's head, could it lift a car, etc.

If you could compare it to a comic book character or character from a movie, or describe feats of strength that the robot could accomplish that would be great. And be realistic, if you could describe the technologies or have proof for why you think the robot would be as strong as you describe that would be cool.

ummm it completely depends on the design of the robot. does it use hydrolic pistions to move? whats it made out of? thats way too general of a question. Thats like asking how fast would a car be.... it depends on the car.
