How strict are you about keeping to your job description?

Almost exactly. But that's science for you...the "job description" is pretty much a vague description of the entire field.

Ok, sounds like most everyone does things outside their job descriptions, so I guess this is pretty normal. This seemed strange to me. As for overtime, I normally don't do much, just 40-50 hours a week.

But it did teach me that girls are disgusting. I was checking the bathrooms today to make sure the toilets auto flush works and they don't leak or anything, and open a stall. Found a turd floating in the bowl. Auto flush obviously not working on that one. But the really gross thing is I realized there was no toilet paper floating in the bowl with the turd.

Some chick pinched one out, pulled up her pants and took off. No flush no wipe!

Keeping to job description=way to rapidly get canned

One exception: Performing duties of a higher paygrade/salary when its not in preparation to assume said position/salary.

IE, performing supervisory duties as a staff employee and not getting paid or promoted to do it.
