How Sriracha is made

That montage forgot to include the crybaby residents of a shithole town in the armpit of LA complaining that they have too many jobs from the warehouse.

well, maybe you wouldn't mind living next to what is, in effect, a chemical weapons plant?

perhaps. But capsiacin vapors, in large quantities, are no joke.

It isn't real....the residents are still complaining even though the pepper processing is over for the year.

I hope another city offers to build them a new factory to bring the jobs.

And I have felt the joy of spray once or twice....once was a little friendly fire. Its worth it for the sauce.

Lays bag of Sriracha ...read the back...says a white kid remembers his grandma putting sriracha on chips. Total fucking BS. White people knew nothing of it back in those days

Denton, Tx has given them a pretty sweet offer to move to their town.
Lots of empty space here in Texas, and we can handle the heat.

Growing up, I had a couple of korean friends who often had bad breath. After smelling Sriracha for the first time last year, I swore they bottled my friends' breath. I was shocked at how similar they smelled.

It has a unique taste....I tend to use tons of it when I do use it.

I wouldn't like it in my chili, but it's good on tacos and burritos.

I keep hearing about this in the Subway commercials. I'd have to buy an actual bottle and try it out some time. I enjoy Frank's hot sauce, is this basically the same idea?

Franks is red colored vinegar. Sriracha has slightly more heat, is sweet, and has spices. It's also thicker. Nothing like Franks.

Thai people love everything spicy. When I was in Thailand I always told the person preparing my meal to tone the spices down. And it was still too spicy!

Thai food is still tasty. 🙂

It's kind of like more flavorful hot sauce. I've had it on everything from sushi to chicken. It's pretty good

I've been aware of it for some time but never actually had it until last summer. I rented a friend's cottage for the week and they had it in the fridge. Since then it's replaced Frank's as my go to condiment.
