How Soon before Tuna goes bad ?

isekii

Lifer
I have a bit of tuna left and it's like 9 days out of the can in the fridge.
Is it still good ?

It doesn't smell spoiled or anything

I threw it out.
I remember a friend that got hepatitis from bad fish. (NOT POONTANG)
and I didn't want to get food poisoning or worse 😛

You were willing to eat an almost 2 week old can of $.25 tuna? Jeez dood.....it's not like it's caviar or something expensive 😛

Heh.. I've got a couple of unopened cans that are well over a year old, and I'm debating whether to eat them or not...

Unopened cans are fine, as they are sterlized during canning. Unless they missed a batch and you got botulism growing
