If you've tasted broadband, even if it's 384K DSL, dial-up is painfully slow.

It is still offered because we live near the phone or cable company. Not everybody can get broadband service....

It's all I can get out here. Not everybody lives in the city. I usually download at about 3~3.5K

Dialup is slow but cheap $4.95/mo ($8 setup fee) for unlimited dialup internet.

Yes Yes Yes

I have a 26.4 Kbps connection at home and a 384 Kbps connection at college. Usually quite using the internet when Im at home except for checking the email. Takes too damn long to load anything.

You should try loading a page of 180 thumbnails, then the 300KB avg. pics linked to the thumbs w/ dial-up.
