What is with you people saying the economy is bad? Maybe you should go elsewhere in the world where unemployment is 2x what it is here and people really can't get any jobs. Where food is scarce, and you don't know if you'll be living in a mud hut next year. Why don't you go there and then tell me how bad it is here. The economy here is doing better than it was in the 70's and 80's. :|Originally posted by: XZeroII
Kerry has to have some sort of plan as well...I'm not sure what it is, but he wants to hit that too so it doesn't look like he's just making noise with no solution of his own.

Are you saying that people shouldn't complain when their government does a bad job managing their affairs? That sounds downright un-american.
And maybe they should complain when they look at countries such as Canada, who avoided recession. Or Sweden, where over 2/3rds of their population has a higher standard of living then the comparable 2/3 in the US. Maybe people look at these countries and ask: "We're the richest and strongest country in the world, why do these crappy petty countries have this kind of success?" Maybe they should move. Or maybe they should try to improve things where they are. And maybe one way they can do this is by removing the current President.
