This should satisfy your curiousity.... idle was 24tmax..32 32 25 28 cores

after 10 min occt: http://img691.imageshack.us/img691/204/q660010minload.jpg

63 degree tmax... still with 7 degrees of room to spare. Cutting it close? Yes. The chances I'm going to get anywhere near this during normal usage?: Probably about the same as winning the lottery.

You guys have some intense rigs.

I'm so behind with an old AMD X2 ~5400+, 2 gb ram, 4870, and a SATA 500gb hard drive. But it plays just about every gave at 1680x1050 with mid details, so that's fine with me. Black Ops runs pretty bad but I think something is really wrong with that game for that to be the case.

Whenever I think of temps, I open up the Catalyst window to see my 4870's temp. Currently idling in Windows at a cool 81° C. Woah!

Some possibilities:
-Keyboard
-Mouse
-Joystick
-Wheel
-Headphones
-Router
-Switch

Not very exciting choices, but sensible lol

So in other words...I'll just put it towards whenever I decide to revamp my computer, lol.

My computer really isn't intense so to speak. Or at least, there is bigger and better, but similar to you, she does what I need it to. I'm thinking the processor will last me for a few more years, video cards maybe another year. But they are really inefficient power wise so if the prices come way down on today's tech that's probably what I'll upgrade to in a year or so.
