I've got a couple of extra computers sitting around with NIC's in them. Would like to set a simple file server to throw all the crap I download onto, IE install programs etc. One is a P133 and the other is a P90. Don't want to have to hook up a mouse, keyboard or monitor to it. Anything out there fit the bill?? Thought I heard of some OS's that will do this but can't remember which ones. Thanks all for the help :)
Forgot to add using W98 on 3 of the computers on my network, W95 on notebook. Do have W2k but not using it right now.

Ever considered Linux? I just finished building a file server out of the following :

P150
32M RAM
Promise Ultra 66
Maxtor 60G 7200
3com 3c905c

I installed Debian on it (with the help of Nothinman). I started with a bas install and the only other things I am putting on it is SAMBA (the file server software), FTP server of some kind, and DJBDNS (better than BIND for a caching nameserver).

If you want some help with it I would be happy to help you out.

Yup! I got 3 windows machines (2 win98, 1 win2k) all have access to 40Gigs of mp3s and access to a 5Gig common share. SAMBA was made with the thought of being a file server for windows networks. If you want some more info check out samba.org. You can administer the
linux box using a web browser which makes setting up the shares a snap!
