How should i handle this?

My best friend has the same problem with his roomate running emule on the living room PC. He just blocked the port to that PC and left it at that.

Now the roomate, a supposed network admin at Verizon, tries his best to troubleshoot the downed connection. We all have a good laugh at his expense.
