Is that like a cup?

LMAO!

My check guard is for $500.00, if there isn't enough money in my checking account to cover a check, the bank covers it for me. So my checks can never bounce. :D I decided to get this after I bounced a 3.00 check, I had to pay $30.00 in fees for that damn thing!

Mine has a 15% intrest rate on it, which really doesn't bother me since I pay it off right away if I use it.

But it's a line of credit, right? Why not just keep a $500 (or whatever you need) buffer in your checking account?

Why not keep the $500.00 in my savings account which pays more intrest, and just keep the check guard as a precaution. ;)

yeah I'm not big on having $500 sit on it's ass in my checking account when I'd hardly ever need it - how much does overdraft protection cost normally? That sounds right up my alley.
