Taylor Swift has asked a fan to be her date to an awards show, and it all started on Facebook.

Less than 24 hours after the sister of a leukemia-stricken New Jersey teen made a plea to the country star in an online video, Swift responded via her official Facebook page.

"Kevin, I'm so sorry but I won't be able to make it to your prom," she wrote. "But I was wondering, the ACM Awards are coming up... Would you be my date?"

Her performance at that awards show a few weeks ago was possibly the worst performance I've ever seen at an awards show ever. Forget the fact she's bone thin with a boy like body and is way too tall, this guy should turn her down for that damn performance ever. She should be banned from life. Why are you guys so angry?

I'm angry because when I was growing up, award shows had GOOD and TALENTED people performing. I use to be able to watch a real artist, not some wanna be country hack who has a god awful voice. It's sad we're in a time where an artist like Taylor sucks so much, but mostly everyone else sucks too. So it seems most people see her as a good artist, since she's about on the same level as 95% of her peers. I wouldn't listen to her music on my own EVER. But, when I go grocery shopping, or turn on an award show, or I'm at some morons house who listens to the radio. It seems I just can't escape trash music like hers. And it really really really sucks
