Of course length matters...

Just think of the brute force method. Each additional character multiplies the time it could possibly take by the number of possible characters (which is larger if including special or multiple cases).

Of course a 6 letter password would be easy. They have rainbow tables for passwords that short.

so I have a few 8 char passwords (uppercase and lower case with numbers), but apparently these are no good.

Is it time to migrate to 12 or 16 character passwords? I used a random password generator, and it's obscure shit like "vap4uc&_ac-d_nUz" or whatever. I feel like that would take a while to learn lol
