Pretty safe, but I was terrified walking around in the dark when I was 12.

Seriously, though, it's not that bad. A couple years ago someone was raped, but other than that I don't remember any instances of violence.

Mine (Rutgers) can't be too safe. Just this week some girls were robbed at gunpoint on campus....

no ranking.. but there were 2 assults 2 alchol related, 1 drug related, 1 weapon related.

for a school of 15000.. I would say.. DAMN!

Hehe, of all the schools in the Albany area, mine (SUNY) was the worst.
Most of the offenses are drug/alcohol related, what else is expected of college kids.

Oh yeah, it doesn't give an actual "ranking" but it lists different types of crimes.

My university releases an annual security report that lists the number of offenses. It's not too bad inside the campus but there is alot of crime around our campus which is under the jurisdiction of the city.

My 'college campus' is quite safe as far as I can tell. There are no stories about it being plowed under or anything. The people 'on' the campus itself, however, may be in some danger. I have to walk to my car in the dark through an isolated area where mountain lion tracks were seen.

a guy disappeared last year never to be found, but i'd say we are really safe.
