How sacrilegious would it be to powder coat an FT02-WRI?

I like darker reds, and am thinking about getting it coated with something more in line with blood red (check out MDPC-X color x sleeve). Would this be sacrilegious to do?
 
The powder coat will be more durable than the current red paint SS used.
I was thinking about flipping it to a Titanium color at the time.

So long as it looks good, creative and cheap, go for it.
