Happen to click on his/her feedback while browsing one of his past sellers and came upon it and found out he has no feedback as a seller! How does one have enough money to buy so much shit?

All his feedback appears to be from half.com for books. I wonder if its the account for a library or something weird like that.

Many people use a different account for selling than they do for buying.

He averages about 40 items per day, and that's only according to feedback numbers. Probably more with auctions where no feedbacks were traded.

I can tell you EXACTLY who milde4 is! It's the buying account for a seller on Amazon who sells under the name "Quality7". They use spider software to find low or under-priced items on Half, then they auto-generate a listing on Amazon at a HUGE markup. If someone just goes directly to Amazon and doesn't bother to compare prices on other sites, he may just pay that ridiculous price. When the Amazon sale goes through, Quality7's software auto-generates a purchase of the Half item, which includes the address of the Amazon buyer - thereby making you a dropshipper for them. That's why your ship to addresses are always different.

If you'll notice, milde4 has over 74,500 feedbacks - all from sellers! So obviously his system works, even though it seriously rubs me the wrong way.

Their system isn't flawless, as is evidenced by their 91% positive feedback rating on Amazon - which is pretty abysmal. If you look at the comments, you'll see many things about slow shipping, inaccurate descriptions/condition rating, etc. etc. Since Quality7/milde4 never actually TOUCH the product, they are at the mercy of the HDC seller. Their spider software can't read and say, "Hmmm, that sounds like it's not graded accurately," or, "the seller described a paperback and listed it as a hardcover."

If you are seeing frequent sales to milde4, I'd take that as a strong indication that you are priced too low. They aren't buying from you unless they can sell it elsewhere at a hefty markup.

wow...one word. pimpalicious.

This person is incredibly smart to design and code such a solution. In the end, everyone is happy too (seller sells book for listed price, buyer receives book that was listed, Quality7 profits).

how would one code such a solution? does half.com let users have access to their databases?

Wow, that's very interesting and very smart. But for the seller with the high feedback, what if he/she gets screwed over, then what? Two people get fucked over. Never thought about that when I posted.

Good thing that Red isn't a mod for eBay. They would be screwed. :p

most likely that is why he only looks for very underpriced books. Even if one out of ten fail, he is still ahead of the pack.

no, they have strict rules about that. if you buy something off of ebay, you are never allowed to resell it. they software that checks your sale auctions against you bought auctions. if they find a match, they charge you a penalty fee of 10% of your listed item's beginning auction cost.

I would imagine that it would be hard to make money doing that anyways. Only was I can see it is if you buy something then repair it and sell it.

That was pretty bad and three pair of rolling eyes, huh??

This is no different from any middlemen business, except he doesn't do anything and doesn't care how the deal end up.
