How quiet is your case

The fan on my BFG 6800GT is loud as sin. However, I don't really hear my comp over the other items running in my bed room, window fan / AC windows unit, street noise, etc... But I usually turn it off anyway for the heat factor. The temps can get high if I leave the gaming rig on 24/7

mine is quite loud. however i sleep with a big fan on anyways (need white noise to sleep well) so i just leave it on all the time

My system is pretty quiet... I'd say very quiet. Both my Zalman 7000-AlCu (volted all the way down) on my CPU and my Seasonic PSU are silent for all intents and purposes. Exhaust is handled by two Panaflo 80mm L fans; intake by two Antec 80mms at 7V. GPU is cooled by an old Thermaltake Crystal Orb at 5V.

It's easy to discern the sound of the hard drives spinning, so I'd say the rest of the system is pretty quiet. The loudest thing is my Lite-On DVD drive when it spins up (the Pioneer DVD burner is very quiet when it spins).

Mine's silent as far as I can tell.
My fans are hooked up to a rheostat and I have a barracuda V drive.

All I can hear is the beach, and the AC whenever it's on.

My computer is very quiet because my CPU fan is one of those 25db Panaflo fans. My HDDs are louder.

I can sleep with any ammount of "white noise", though.

My computer and monitor have been on 24/7 for the last 5 years, except of course downtime, upgrades, power failures, etc...

Mine is somewhat loud, but it doesn't bother me whatsoever in terms of sleeping. Probably because I've had my PCs on 24/7 for the better part of five years now 😛
