How old where you when you got your first cell phone and what kind was it?

When I was 16 I got my own phone, has been using my parents for years. Got the motorola startac 3000 i believe, was pretty popular at the time for what it was. Thinking back, the thing really was awful!

My parents had huge bag phones for at least 3-4 years before all of those though.

I was about 15, it was a Nokia 918. Next, a Nokia 5160, a Motorola V2260, then a Motorola StarTac 7868.

I haven't had a cell in about three years and just recently picked up a Nokia 3120.
