What were the first signs? IE... Hair on the pillowcase..etc...
Did you take any action? IE... Rogaine, implants..etc...

I think mine is falling out. I see some on my black towels every once in a while after I shower and dry my hair. :(

Muhahahaha Asian men don't have this problem till they're like 40... I can see with the amount of hair and how fast hair grows out on my head, that I won't be worrying about balding for a LONG time.

I think I am gonna start keeping mine shorter. It seems like it pulls out easier when it's longer.

good, that 'fro is a national institution

I would have to agree. If the fro were to fall I could see the economy going with it. As well as several species of endangered animals. We must all do our part to keep the fro puffy and well maintained.

I was about 35 when I noticed a few hairs in the sink. Dermatologist recommended Nizoral shampoo, which I used twice a week and since then no more hair loss.

I suppose around 22. At first it was the usual hair loss around the temple which is typical of guys getting older but then I noticed more hair on my pillow as time passed. Now at the age of 29 I have thinning hair up on top and lost quite a bit more on the temple area but I dont care anymore. I don't intend on taking any action to save the rest of my hair as it doesnt look bad yet.

There is not ONE fully bald man in my entire family (and I have a big family) just a few with bald spots so I dont expect to get fully bald. If it does look bad in the coming years I'll just shave it down..I really don't care.

I think it was when I was about 20. I think I first noticed it in the shower. It really doesn't bother me.

Well, try not to get too paranoid. Between 70 to 150 hairs are regularly lost from the scalp each day.

I was around 21 when I noticed a few too many hairs in my towels after showers. Didnt notice an actual decline in hair on my head until a few years later.

Stopped using gel and started using a slightly more expensive shampoo (the cheaper paul mitchell stuff). 30 now and have a slight receeding hairline (about 1/2").

That actually makes me feel alot better...lol.
But even so I can tell it's thinner. But I know guys that were balding in HS. So I guess it's not so bad. It's just hair. If I didnt have such a thin shaped head I would just shave it like Vin Deisel.

I've been shaving my head since I was about 23 (I'm 30 now). At some point around age 27 I realized that growing the hair out fully was no longer an option  It started off as a comfort/utility thing, but I guess head-shaving will continue to be the norm for me now :) I don't much care though, as I never really liked the hair anyway. This way there is no maintenance

I started going grey at 16 and the hairline gained latitude by 18. Pictures of my dad as a young man left no room for any hope things could be different. It never bothered me.

I think I noticed a signifant loss of hair on my head the first time I looked at a mirror after my first "buzzcut" .... probably when I was around 10 years old.

hair does fall out occasionally, it doesn't mean you are getting male pattern baldness :p

I'm 27 and haven't noticed it yet (crosses fingers). I'm really hoping I'm able to keep a hold on the hair...but I doubt I will be successful. I'm generally not image conscious...but I have to say that I would be open to methods for retaining my hair.
